Social Networks for Academics Proliferate, Despite Some Scholars’ Doubts – Technology – The Chronicle of Higher Education.

Yeah, the doubts continue in the humanities. I have been very reticent about posting papers online since I don’t want to preclude the possibility of getting them published in peer-reviewed journals. It’s a catch-22 that remains a problem. I do use zotero.org to help organize my research results, and I have an academia.edu account, which I rarely update. I had not heard about Mendeley.com nor ResearchGate.net, so I want to check them out soon.
